Frequently Asked Questions

Where is this event located?

This conference is held at Lifeway Ridgecrest Conference Center. 1 Ridgecrest Drive, Ridgecrest, NC 28770.

Can my sibling come for the conference?

Yes. High school students are welcome to come to the conference. However, each high school participant must have his or her parent sign the BCF required parental consent form to participate. This must be signed, scanned and emailed to info@bethelcampusfellowship.com  by February 12, 2018.

What do I do if I am coming alone (unassociated with any school)?

We love the fact that you don’t want to miss the Conference and have taken the step to register yourself to join us. We have a team of people ready to meet you and connect you with our team. If you would like one of the team members to give you a call prior to departure day to organize where to meet, email us in advance at info@bethelcampusfellowship.com to let us know.

How many days am I going to miss of work and class?

We will depart to Ridgecrest, NC as early as Thursday evening (dependent upon your departure location, MD attendees will leave on Thursday) and will return Sunday evening. Please check your schedules and plan to be available from Thursday evening to Sunday evening.  For all students, BCF will be providing a permission letter that you can distribute to your teachers to explain your absence.

What should I bring?

Other than clothing, personal hygiene products and snacks, please bring your Bible, notebook, and several pens. Resources will be available at our Conference Merchandising areas for purchase, including CD recordings of the sessions, keynote speakers' books,  teaching CDs, BCF paraphernalia, and etc...

What do I wear?

In February, North Carolina is typically very cold, with the possible chances of rain and/or snow. So, it is recommended that you bring an umbrella, warm clothing and flat comfortable shoes or boots. A jacket/coat is also recommended with typical winter wear i.e. hats, gloves, etc.

I am interested in riding along on the bus. What is the address for my departing site?

The departure of buses and vans will occur at various regional locations. These locations will be provided on the website, as the conference date gets closer. In addition, please contact your school’s BCF President for more information concerning transportation. Please arrive at least an hour to 45 minutes prior to departure. Please inform BCF of your intentions while you register so we can accommodate you accordingly.

Will food be provided during the bus drive or will I need to bring money with me (for food)?

We recommend that you eat dinner before coming to the departure site. Once we depart (on Thursday for MD attendees) the first meal to be provided by BCF will be at 12 noon on Friday and that will be given at the conference venue. Please bring money for your breakfast on Friday (likely to be fast food). If you do not wish to eat fast food, please bring your snacks that will satisfy you for breakfast. In addition, we are likely to stop on our way back on Sunday evening at a fast food restaurant, we encourage you to have money for that also.

I plan to fly back to school the same day of our return (Sunday). What is the estimated return time?

The journey from Ridgecrest takes between 8 and 9 hours by road to MD. For NC and GA, the trip is between 5 and 6 hours, respectively. Therefore, if we begin departure at 11:00 am on Sunday (last day of conference), we will reach Maryland around 8:00 pm. It is recommended that participants that can afford the flight, fly back to school from North Carolina, especially if they must be back to school on that Sunday.  A missed flight is not the responsibility of Bethel Campus Fellowship.

If you plan to fly out of North Carolina, BCF strongly recommends that you schedule your departure time for mid-afternoon of the last day of the conference. A flight leaving no earlier than 4 PM will be recommended. PLEASE DISCUSS WITH YOUR STATE REP OR FLIGHT COORDINATOR, (Mr. Hervens Jeannis at hjeannis@bethelcampusfellowship.com) BEFORE BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT.

Which airport should I book my ticket to in North Carolina?

Hotel accommodation is reserved only for the BCF leadership team and guest ministers. Married couples or adults who are not in either category will have to call the registration team to arrange for this room type. Please note that there is additional cost for the hotel room instead of the cheaper student room if available. For fairness to all conference attendees, this is strictly enforced.
